2022 League1 Men's Head Coach
FC London League1 is proud to announce Ruben Quintão as our 2022 Mens Head Coach.
Ruben was born and raised in Forjães, Portugal. Attended Engineering school in his homeland and Romania
as part of a student exchange program. The love for soccer led him to pursue his dream of becoming a coach. Ruben has been coaching at various levels of play for about six years, first in Norway and now in Canada for the last three years. He holds a UEFA-B Licence taken in Denmark and is currently taking his UEFA-A Licence in Scotland. Ruben is thrilled to be joining FC London in 2022 in what he considers to be his biggest challenge in his career so far.
2022 League 1 Women's Head Coach & U21 Womens coach
FC London League1 is proud to announce Garrett Peters as our 2022 Womens Head Coach
Garrett was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica and was raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. In his early soccer days, he played with the provincial team and was happy to eventually accept an offer to continue playing in the CIS after graduation. He went on to captain the University of Saskatchewan Huskies and was a CanWest First Team AllStar. Garrett then went on to represent Canada at the World University Games in Gwangju, Korea. He has now been coaching for 6 years spending 2 of those years with the Sask. Regional Excel Center, and most recently with Astra Soccer Academy running their University Prep Program. Garrett has enjoyed taking the Canadian C & B licensing programs and plans to eventually go on to complete his A-License. “Im very excited to continue my coaching career here in London. This organization has a special group of coaches and players and I can’t wait to see how far we can push the women’s programs of FC London and London TFC!”
