FC LONDON signs Ashley Campbell former U20 National Team midfielder

FC LONDON has signed former Canadian National Team player Ashley Campbell for the 2017 League1 season.

Michael Marcoccia (Head Coach) states "As an attacking-midfielder, Ashley will add depth to the squad supporting our strikers. She's familiar with Jade Kovacevic's playing style, so that's a bonus."

Ashley, a Bradford Ontario native, played most of her youth soccer with the Toronto Lynx Soccer Club before attending University of Dayton in Ohio on a full ride scholarship. She has been playing in Europe for the last few years and has decided to come back to Canada to play in League1, recognized as one of the top women’s leagues in the country. In 2014 she was selected to the Canadian National U20 team, playing in the U20 Women's World Cup that was held throughout Canada. She logged minutes in games against Ghana, Finland, North Korea and Germany.

She will make her HOME debut with FC LONDON Women on Saturday July 8, 4: 7:30 KO at the Cove vs Darby FC.
